Rough Terrain Crane is great value for a Technic set
Great value
#5 of 81 Technic sets with 1,000+ pieces
Even though it counts as a motorized set, which usually drags these numbers down, this 4,057-piece crane rates great value, seventh of 66 big Technic sets. It gives about 101 pieces per $10 against a typical 77 and around 31% more plastic per dollar than its group, with 4.4 of 5 from 435 builders. It does cost about 8% more than sets with similar contents, roughly $23 extra.
Motorized: motors and hubs cost a lot but add little plastic, so these measures undervalue it.
