Liebherr Crawler Crane LR 13000 gives much less than similar sets
Poor value
#76 of 81 Technic sets with 1,000+ pieces
Much of this crane’s $699.99 price goes into motors and hubs rather than bricks, so it scores poorly on value: about 37 pieces per $10, half what a typical big Technic set gives, and builders rate it below most of its group (3.8 of 5). It costs roughly twice what its pieces and plastic would usually sell for, so it makes sense if you want a working motorized crane, not the most build for your money.
Motorized: motors and hubs cost a lot but add little plastic, so these measures undervalue it.
